Application Idea

Working alongside the expert team at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) Light Microscope Facility, we successfully integrated our AO technology into a commercial Thorlabs Bergamo multiphoton system.

For the 2P measurement, deep imaging was created using a custom-made cover glass with 2P excitation and a pollen grain sample. The images below show the results: on the left is the image of the sample without AO, and on the right is the corrected measurement. The corrected measurement on the right shows a significant improvement in contrast and brightness, and the finer structures are also more visible.
